Samantha Skyring - Salt of the Earth
Who'd think that your choice of salt can make a massive difference in your life!! It might even be the source of everlasting inspiration .... or so it seems if you listen to the endless energy & enthusiasm of Samantha Skyring!!
Samantha Skyring is an entrepreneur at heart. She was working 2 jobs at 13 and at 19 her dad threw her in the deep end to run an aircraft interior refurbishing business with 30 staff. She then went on to start Kayak Africa on Lake Malawi.
Her next passion was the 20,000 drums NGO she started, workshopping children in disadvantaged communities across the country.
Samantha started Oryx Desert Salt 12 years ago, packing grinders on her dining room table. She is deeply passionate about sharing and making this healthy essential desert salt available globally, making a difference to people’s health and the environment with reusable long-lasting grinders. Oryx Desert Salt was launched nationally in the USA 2 years ago and has supplied 23 countries to date.
